*The Maternity Care Coalition is launching the Building a Breastfeeding-Friendly Philadelphia campaign to increase awareness of breast-feeding's benefits to mother, child and community.  Breast-feeding reduces obesity and helps babies stay healthier, which reduces employee absenteeism due to child illnesses. Recently passed legislation requires companies with 50 or more employees to provide break time and a private place where lactating women can express breast milk for their babies during the first year.
